Foclóir.ie is the new English-Irish dictionary from Foras na Gaeilge that was launched in 2013.

In addition to translations, it also provides grammatical information and sound files for pronunciation.
Irish English
Scéal.ie/Sloinne is a database where you can look up Irish surnames and their forms and origins.

The database was compiled from two main books ‘Sloinnte Gaedheal is Gall’ and ‘An Sloinnteoir Gaeilge agus an tAinmneoir’.

Logainm.ie is a database of Irish placenames, developed by Fiontar & Scoil na Gaeilge (DCU) and the Placenames Branch of government.

It’s for anyone who appreciates the rich heritage of Irish placenames. Enter a placename in Irish or English below.
