First national protest CEARTA takes place

The first national protest, ‘CEARTA’, in support of our language in over ten years, took place on October 20, 2025, from Parnell Square to Leinster House.
This protest came after years of broken or unfulfilled promises and insufficient actions to support the Irish language and the Gaeltacht.
