The Irish language is a valuable skill to have when you are looking for employment in Ireland and abroad. There are many opportunities for those with Irish in the public sector, in business, in culture and heritage, in the media, in translation and in education.

There are many excellent resources where you can go for advice and information regarding potential careers with the Irish language. The most comprehensive are outlined below.

You’ll find guidance, advice and important information about career planning with the Irish language, including information of appropriate courses of study, and the opportunities that are possible for those who are fluent, and a lot more besides.
