Find out about the Irish-language community groups in Ireland and abroad who do amazing work nurturing, sharing and promoting the Irish language.

Main groups #
There are Irish language groups and organisations based in cities and towns from coast to coast.
These groups provide everything from information to classes, workshops, services and other events.
Below is a listing of the main group networks and where to find out more information on them:
- Lárionaid Ghaeilge – you can find the full list of the Irish-language community centres below.
- Conradh na Gaeilge branches – the Conradh has over 200 branches around the country and abroad.
- Irish-language planning committees and language planning officers – these are the people leading the local language plans. Nearly every Limistéar Pleanála Teanga, Baile Seirbhíse Gaeltachta and Líonra Gaeilge will have a committee and at least one officer.
- Groups that are part of the Irish language Network Development Scheme – these are groups that have not yet reached Líonra Gaeilge status but are several steps along in the process.
