Conradh na Gaeilge acts as the democratic forum for the Irish language community. The organisation works on behalf of Irish speakers and Gaeltacht areas throughout Ireland and around the world. Since it was established on 31st of July 1893, members of the Conradh have been actively promoting the Irish language in every aspect of life, from legal and educational matters to developing Irish language media and services.
