Duais Basho & Guth na hÉigse

Is comórtas labhartha filíochta d’iar-bhunscoileanna é Guth na hÉigse atá bunaithe ar an gcomórtas Poetry Aloud, a bhfuil an-rath air.

Guth na hÉigse is a Poetry Speaking Competition for Post- Primary Schools, based on the successful and well-established Poetry Aloud Poetry Speaking Competition. Through Guth na hÉigse, students throughout the island of lreland are encouraged to commit Irish-language poems to memory and then speak the poems aloud for judges and an audience.

Acclaimed spoken word poet Julie Goo, whose poetry is featured in Guth na hÉigse, will perform at this event.
